Looking for Llamas??!! When we started our pack llama journey, it was challenging to find quality pack stock. At the time, one friend with a lot of experience told us to get any llama we could as supply was scarce. He told us we may not start with the best, but we would learn a lot along the way. That was so true. We found and trained a lot of llamas with varying degrees of success. We did learn a lot and saw first hand the importance of good confirmation and mindset in llamas as well as good training practices in ourselves. Along the way, we made connections with many pack llama breeders and eventually brought in some excellent llamas from diverse bloodlines. This has improved our pack string and our breeding program greatly. We now have the privilege to help others get started with llamas or add to their herds.
