Looking for Llamas??!!
When we started our pack llama journey, it was challenging to find quality pack stock. At the time, one friend with a lot of experience told us to get any llama we could as supply was scarce. He told us we may not start with the best, but we would learn a lot along the way. That was so true. We found and trained a lot of llamas with varying degrees of success. We did learn a lot and saw first hand the importance of good confirmation and mindset in llamas as well as good training practices in ourselves. Along the way, we made connections with many pack llama breeders and eventually brought in some excellent llamas from diverse bloodlines. This has improved our pack string and our breeding program greatly. We now have the privilege to help others get started with llamas or add to their herds. Please contact us at amc@thunderridgepackllamas.com or subscribe below if you would like to join our notification list, as we occasionally have llamas for sale.
***2026 Llama Sales***
This year, we are looking to trim down our group of breeding females to better align with our acreage and time constraints. We really want to make sure that these llamas end up in the right hands and look forward to talking through your needs, experience, plans, etc. to ensure the right fit.
We also may be open to trades for males of similar age, size, conformation, etc.

Miss Bessie is halter, lead, and trailer trained. We brought Bessie to the ranch as a breeeding female, but we have been unable to have her concieve the last couple years. As such, we have decided to offer her to someone that packs with females. She will make a great packer with her great muscling, size, and easy attitude. Bessie will finish up her training easily.
